Contact Us

At Ozsom Care, we believe that nature has the power to heal, inspire, and connect. Our Bushwalking program gives NDIS participants the opportunity to explore the stunning natural landscapes of Victoria — from gentle park trails to scenic bush reserves — with the personalised support they need to get out there safely and confidently. Whether you're taking your first steps on a track or you're an experienced walker ready for your next adventure, our team is here to walk right alongside you.

What Our Bushwalking Program Offers

Getting into nature shouldn't be a barrier — it should be an experience everyone can enjoy. Here's what we provide:

  • Supported walks on local trails, national parks, and scenic reserves
  • One-on-one or small group bushwalking outings tailored to your ability
  • Transport to and from trailheads and bushwalking locations
  • Personalised pacing — no rush, no pressure, just nature at your speed
  • Safety planning and risk assessment for every outing

Why Bushwalking?

Spending time outdoors and in nature offers real, evidence-backed benefits for people of all abilities:

  • Physical Fitness — improved cardiovascular health, strength, balance, and mobility
  • Mental Wellbeing — reduced anxiety, stress, and low mood through time in green spaces
  • Social Connection — shared experiences with peers, support workers, and community members
  • Confidence & Independence — building skills and self-belief with every step
  • Sense of Purpose — goal-setting, exploration, and the satisfaction of reaching a destination

Who Is This For?

Our Bushwalking program is designed for NDIS participants who want to:

  • Connect with the natural environment and enjoy the great outdoors
  • Improve physical fitness and mobility in a fun, relaxed setting
  • Build confidence and try new experiences with trusted support
  • Participate in group activities and form friendships along the way
  • Explore Melbourne's parks, trails, and surrounding bushland

We support participants of all fitness levels and abilities — from beginners on accessible flat trails to those ready for longer, more challenging walks.
